Chillin’ in Banyule aims to connect local venues with performers through gigs and lasting networks.
Banyule City Council has now opened applications for local musicians and singers to apply for the Chillin’ in Banyule 2025 series, running throughout May.
Banyule Council will match local performers with venues by:

managing an initial callout for interested artists and venues

scoring all applicants to determine which venues and performers make a good fit for the gigs

scheduling performers at selected venues over a 4-week gig calendar

providing a flat $300 (plus GST) performance fee for each scheduled gig (3-hour minimum call)

Note: You MUST be connected to the municipality of Banyule (north-east suburbs) by residency (or at least work and regular recreation).
While we accept applications from bands/groups, please be aware that there is often very limited suitable venues and fees are flat fee based on solo performance.
